Year 1834: Larisa never met her father. She was born of a recognition between him and her mother, who was a school teacher. The only thing she knew of her father was that he was a mercenary - mostly because that was all her mother knew before he was later reported murdered in the streets.
Arabella had little so her daughter became her most precious treasure. She moved her shop and funds to a small village far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. They lived their own little fantasy life out there, with Arabella served as her private tutor, ensuring her schooling didn't falter, and nurtured her child's creative nature for fantasy stories and art.
Year 1854: Now twenty years old, Larisa dreams of becoming a painter and having her own gallery in the big city. Her mother spent most of her younger years trying to talk her out of it to no avail, so she ultimately surrendered to her daughters desires. However, Arabella was to rooted in the local school - and to needed given they had so few teachers - so she could not go with Larisa. To this end, Larisa contacted her cousin, Kathleen, to ask to stay with her while she got on her feet. The two have never met, but Larisa has always known she had an aunt and cousin in the big city - she's eager to meet them and start her new life.
Larisa moves to Shade’s Run and stays with her cousin Kathleen at the Temple of the Heavenly Host. She gets the tour and guidelines for where she will be living. Trisha also helps out, since she’s so close with Kathleen and eager to meet her cousin. Nelsi takes Larisa out shopping the next day. Kathleen, being a knight commander, has work and that lets the two get to know each other one-on-one. Especially since Nelsi is just as shocked as Kathleen to know her brother had a child before his death.
Year 1855: Larisa encounters Clover while the former is trying to pain the cityscape to commemorate her arrival in Shade’s Run (besides, she’ll need to paint a lot of things to populate her gallery when she finds one to rent). They have brunch and talk about sponsorships, with Clover agreed to sponsor Larisa.
Year 1856: Larisa visits Camellia Emlen to ask her to sponsor her first month of gallery ownership – naturally, should Camellia agree, a percentage of sales for that time would be used to pay back the sponsorship!
Year 1859: Larisa has a major breakthrough in her gallery business when she is commissioned to paint Jasper Promathea! She begins her art piece and gets to know the subject of it in person. However, a month later, a thief broke into Larisa’s shop the night before, she’s devastated of course and Danielle is the knight given the task of looking into her case and trying to find the lost art pieces. Sadly though, most cases like this one go unsolved and Danielle knows that. The worst part is that the portrait of Jasper has been stolen too!
