Year 1843: Just before the fall of Cardinal Meridian, Helen becomes pregnant once more. As a result Amon is given special leave by his superiors to get his family out of the city instead of joining the main fight against the monster that erupted in the town center. He ushers her safely away and a few months later their second son, Keita, is born. Percy is barely old enough to realize he is no longer an only child and is happy to have a play mate. The two brothers grow up to be close.
Year 1847: Helen notices Percy interest in Keise machinery and taking things apart. He is happy his mother is supportive of this and buys him things to play with and explore.
Year 1850: As the Crown vs Temple conflict is dying down she and Amon unexpectedly recognize a second time! They are thrilled about it of course. Their daughter, Lucy, is born that year. Being nine he realizes the responsibility of being a big brother and vows to protect his little sister.
Year 1853: With three children in the house, Amon and Helen talk about how he should stay closer to home. After a talk with his commander, he is given a post as a personal honor guard to a Promathea – which should keep him very close to home most days. He is assigned to the newest member of the family, Kyshtari. Percy is glad to have his father around more. Around this same time he is recognized for his interest in machinery and is invited to train as an apprentice inventor.
Year 1854: Percy notices Chester working on documents for the newly made Consortium. When Chester offers him to join, Percy happily agrees and also asks to have Patrick on as his “assistant”. Chester refuses the assistant role but says Patrick can be his errand boy – assistants must invent! Percy tells his parents about his employment with the Consortium, which they are concerned about given the risks. Keita is upset that Percy is leaving him behind. Percy tells Patrick about how he can take him on as an errand boy… but that he will eventually have to move to the new flying military fortress once it is finished! Patrick wants to come with him, however when they approach Patrick's parents they are quickly shut down from the idea. In the end Percy has to go on his own and writes to Patrick.
Year 1856: Chester and Percy learn that they can use the energy from the gate to power synchronized energy cannons. The cannons would produce a huge amount of power, enough to harm the gigantic Ocean Slada’sha. The issue is something isn’t letting them use the nodes they found.
Year 1856: After learning what they can about Torus and “Fate”, the Consortium members find a way to implode the Time Steam Gates. The devices must be planted at the various gate locations and will close the portals and release the energy back into its proper balance. There are 9 gates in total and thus 5 teams are sent. Team 4: Yuki, Chisu & Percy. Team 4 arrive at their Time Steam Gate and must deal with enemies coming out of it while they reach it to destroy it. All the teams return to Dawnbringer Fortress news of their success, and their fatalities.
Year 1857: Percy meets Hope while at a bookstore. He gets a crush on her but fumbles over his words and can’t get much out. Percy talks with Chester about his new crush, since the man was married once. However, the advice he gets is hardly useful given the man is an angry drunk these days. Percy tries talking to Amon about it, since he and his mother seem so happy together. Percy caves in and confides in Patrick about his crush on Hope. Patrick suggests they do a double date and he can bring along Monnique. Patrick goes out of his way to invite Hope to the party and get the scope of the woman to see if she’s “worthy” of Percy. Hope comes to the double date with Percy, Monnique and Patrick attending. Patrick decides, based on his previous evaluation of Hope, if he will hook them up or destroy their chances. Percy tries to take Hope out on a date but gets the “I just think of you as a friend” line.
The Consortium set up a camp to activate the cannons at an agreed upon time with Chester operating as a communications hub for it. Oseron stays behind at the fortress as well, with the Isle of Entropy acting as the vessel to carry Leorajh to the battle. With everything ready, Mouko releases the barrier as his island arrives on the site. Nu and Emiho get Mouko and bring him to safety. Meanwhile, the others take Leorajh into the battle. The Ocean Slada’sha is Defeated: The signal is given, the cannons are activated and the fight against the Slada’sha takes place. Leorajh alone keeps its focus until the weapons can be unleashed at full power but in the end they are victorious in putting the monster down for good!A massive celebration is held at the Dawnbringer Fortress unknown to those celebrating, however, “Fate” makes its fury known and opens multiple gates through time into the ancient past – unleashing 5 ancient True Dragons onto the world. As they enter a time period in which they are dead, their psyche melds with that of their deranged dead counter parts and drives them into a maddened state.
