Unholy magic is used by demons, warlocks and voidmancers. The unholy power of the the demons is usually considered a vial and corrupt force. warlocks are people who have made contracts with demons but are beholden to the power of the demon. The voidmancers from the Arcane Sanctum have the power of the contract and their demons are at their mercy. They have the true names of the demons, gained through submission rituals when the demon is conjured.Character Creation
The warlock focuses on the target's body, activating the blood to turn hot read and begin to boil. This creates a hot blistering seam from the target's body as red vapor begins to come from the skin. This is a channeled affect and the target will die after a minute of this power.
The warlock cuts themselves and offers their blood to the dark powers. This takes their spells and greatly increases their potency (x2 per ounce of blood given). It also wounds the caster for minimal damage.
The warlock summons forth a ball of burning red fire that does unholy and fire damage to a target. The size of the fire ball depends on if it does minor, moderate or heavy damage. The larger the ball of fire, the more energy it takes and the more time it takes to manifest.
This is a single strike of lightning from the caster's hands to a single target. It does moderate damage and stuns the target if they cannot shake it off quick enough. This often has a knock back affect as well, tossing the target a few feet back. The caster can divide up the lightning to do minor damage to two targets if they split the power between their hands.
This spell drains a single living target of soul energy. At first this hampers their ability to cast (their inner mana reserves are lessened) but if this channeled effect reaches its ultimate conclusion the caster can pull their soul from their body. This can result in death (at best) and if the caster has a crystal or object to bind the soul into then they become an artifact enslaved to the caster until liberated. A soul stolen in this way has its body go into a coma and they will only survive for a handful of days before dying – however, if the soul is freed before then they will revive.
This spell consumes a spiritual creature, be it a familiar or a supernatural of some kind, and grants the potent magical reserves – as well as some abilities – to the caster. However, strong spiritual entities may retain their consciousness within the caster, causing schizophrenia on a good day and out right delusion madness on a bad one.
This ritual creates a contract between the warlock and another. The contract is not easily broken, and to do so would bring a heavy cost (decided by the warlock). The contract must be described to the person who will sign it, or it must be written and read by the person. Once signed, the parties of the contract will know if anyone attempts to violate the terms. Verbal contracts can be used for this ritual, and is considered a sneaky way to do it. A verbal contract has no physical part to it, no signature, so it is 'signed' by someone giving their word or a shake of the hands.
Ritual of Binding
Takes a dominated soul or spiritual creature and binds them to an object or person. Those bound become slaves to their master and will use their intellect, body and powers as commanded until released.
Summon the Damned
The caster conjures a portal to the abyssal planes and can bring through demons. Often this is used while knowing which demons you wish to summon and then following it with a contest of wills/binding ritual. Just letting whatever wants to come in is often insanely dangerous to the caster and the surrounding populace…
Voidmancers - Unholy
The voidmancer attacks a target with pure pain. They are crippled unless extremely stoic. This slows down even the stoic for a few seconds. Agony lasts thirty seconds and ticks off minor damage as it goes. Unless dispelled it will deal moderate damage by the end.
The voidmancer creates an area of affect that black lightning shoot down from a darkened sky. It hits the targets identified by the voidmancer and avoids their allies. This lightning will strike the same place twice and lasts up to fifteen seconds, don a strike a second.

The voidmancer summons a ball of fire and throws it at a target. Where it lands it erupts into a 5x5 foot area of burning hellfire. The fire does unholy damage and continues to burn the target and location for up to a minute, doing moderate damage for major damage when it finally goes out.
The voidmancer eats the soul of their target, their hand summons the energy of the target's soul to it. The target is disoriented and take s minor damage while the voidmancer heals per point of damage. This can be shook off by the target if their will is strong enough.

Inspire Shadow Self
This is a will vs will spell where in the voidmancer attempts to drag the shadow side of a target to the front. This side of the target acts against the target's best interest and tries to humiliate, belittle or endanger the target. This shadow self remains in control until the target can force their will back into command. This could be seconds, it could be days.
The voidmancer throws a black thorn of pain at their target. It does major damage in the form of physical agony but no physical damage. It attacks the soul.
The target's skin breaks and boils up with sores all over it. Movement is painful and usually people slow down. The target takes minor damage from the sores bleeding and breaking. This lasts for a minute before the body reverts to its previous state, life force is reduced by the amount of damage it did.
The target of the voidmancer suddenly gains deep lacerations over their body. This does painful, moderate damage, to the target and lasts for fifteen seconds. The wounds do not heal when the effect ends but no more are inflicted either. This can be recast over and over again until the target dies from blood loss and shock.

The voidmancer summons their guardian demon (Voidmancer = medium level demon, Void Master = high level demon). This creature fights on their behalf and will take damage for them. Once it has taken too much damage or is banished, it can be re-summoned quickly at the sacrifice of blood from the voidmancer.
Summon Lesser Demon
The voidmancer summons a small lesser demon, like imps and scrags, to aid in attacks. The voidmancer can only have up to five of these creatures before they are being drained. The creatures on a short contract, doing their bidding and then vanishing. They will not stick around, have conversation or do anything extra. They last for a maximum of a minute.
By imbuing a target with their dark magic through ritual (name or item of target is needed) the voidmancer can infest a person with a demonic presence, corrupting them and giving them all the usual signs of someone who is possessed. They become more the demon and less themselves. If untreated, after six months, the demon can attempt to take over the host, removing the spirit entirely from the body. If the demon is exorcised at this point, it leaves a dead husk behind.
It is common for voidmancers to craft curses against their enemies (and friends as pranks). Curses need to have the name of the person to be cursed or a part of their belongings (hair, clothing, trinkets). The voidmancer creates a blood sacrifice in the name of the curse and imagines what the target will go through with all the burning emotion they can muster. Voidmancers have to feed blood (half a ounce) to the curse to prolong the effects after twenty-four hours.
Confusion: The target's mind is befuddled. They get lost in a simple room, they have trouble paying attention to others, they have trouble walking and they will have to speak slow. It is as though their head is in a suffocating fog.
Dark Karma: The target's luck is entirely depleted. They stub their toe, they lose their shoe, their necklaces tangle into an incomprehensible mess, they fall down stairs, they break objects they touch by dropping them or bumping into them, they say the wrong things in a conversation or have the most ill timed bodily needs.
Lethargy: This is often used against competition more then anything else. The curse makes the target tired, unmotivated and disinterested in life. They turn to their vices for comfort and entertainment or sleep all day. A very productive person becomes suddenly reclusive and annoyed with the world around them. Non productive people retreat even farther into their habits, resentful of being dragged out of them.
Lust: The target's hormones are enhanced to bring about the 'itch' in a bad way. Their body reacts like an addict, throbbing and yearning, their mind keeps wrapping around how they could sate their need and often they are twitchy, distracted and their entire body is pulsing. Until they have climaxed, they will not have a moment's peace.
Pain: The target starts with a mild pain in a limb or body part that grows thought the day into a crippling force of agony. No medical researcher will find the cause of the pain. There is technically nothing wrong with the target.
Rage: An uncontrollable rage fills the target. They lash out of people, they are irritable, they take their anger out violently even if they're not usually the physical sort and they can become murderous towards overly annoying problems. Mothers who can't handle their baby's cry will kill the baby, employees will attack their bosses, the little girl who can't handle the sound of the doves outside will take the family gun and go dove-nugget hunting, things like that. The target is unashamed, and validated, in their anger until the curse passes.
Portal to Hell
Voidmancers do not take this ritual lightly. They can open a portal into the demonic realm after sacrificing a lot of life force. Usually group of voidmancers work together to acheive this so that no one has to die for it. When a group isn't possible, the lives of unsuspecting victims will work just fine. The portal allows people to step into hell. They can reopen the portal to leave, but the portal is locked in the location it is opened. So if a group goes into hell they have to get back out by returning to where the portal is. While the portal is open, all manner of demon can crawl out of it. It is up to the voidmancer(s) to control and turn back any demons that attempt to do this.
For a voidmancer to have a demon on a contract they have to summon the demon and force it into submission. Before they summon the demon it is wise to know the demon's true name, but that is not often possible. To gain the true name, the voidmancers can preform this ritual which brings the demon part of the way into their world, weak and vulnerable. Then then they torture it into giving them its true name. The true name is used to bind the demon into service. Demons killed during this ritual are dead, they do not go to hell only to re-manifest. Most demons would rather be in service than be dead. If the demon is stronger willed then the voidmancer, it can break out of the ritual and escape back into hell, ending the ritual.
Summon Hell's Army
The voidmancers gather together (at least five are needed, four plus the ritual master) to summon ten demons per voidmancer. The demons are under the control of the ritual leader. The voidmancers used to summon the army are drained but not dead. The demons are given their tasks as a group, often destruction or something or someone, and observed by the ritual leader to ensure control is not lost on the monsters. Voidmancers can be replaced with victims of any walk of life, but if that is done the victim often dies during the summoning process as their entire life force is used.
Voidmancers often summon the sultry demons to sick on their friends as pranks or their enemies as blackmail. These creatures create a mind-altering field around them and physically transform into the target's sexual desires in body and personality. Their sole goal is to seduce the target into a wild night of sex and revelry They feed on the sexual energy and return some of it to their voidmancer. Some voidmancers prefer to have these creatures as their main pets as they do a fantastic job of distracting would be attackers.
